Community Day at West Mountain Health Services

12th Annual Care For Kids 5K Run & Fitness Walk
The Hudson Headwaters Health Foundation has scheduled its 12th annual Care for Kids 5K Run and Fitness Walk to benefit the pediatric program of Hudson Headwaters Health Network. Partnership and Collaboration – Hudson Headwaters
Earlier this year, I enjoyed meeting with a group of 50 community leaders and public officials from Champlain and nearby towns—communities that form an arc along the international border. They came to a “friend-raising” gathering to learn more about Hudson Headwaters and our plans to replace our aging (and crumbling) North County Family Health facility.

Hudson Headwaters Cuts Fees Further for Patients Receiving Financial Relief
Hudson Headwaters Health Network has slashed charges for patients who receive financial relief through its Sliding Fee program. Previously, patients who qualified were extended discounts, paying between $10 and $53 dollars per office visit, based on income and family size. Hudson Headwaters Receives $350,000 for Children’s Dental Care
The funds will be used to establish a traveling program to bring preventive dental services to local schools, Head Start locations and Hudson Headwaters’ health centers in seven communities. Hudson Headwaters Health Network is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). Hudson Headwaters Health Network is granted medical malpractice liability protection through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) and are considered Federal employees with the Federal government acting as their primary insurer.
