Comprehensive Benefits

As an organization that strives to be an employer of choice, we recognize the importance of providing employees with quality benefit plans. After all, the success of the Network is a direct result of the well-being of our employees.

Eligibility for each program may be dependent on employment status, work schedule, and position. The following is a brief summary of the benefit programs available to Hudson Headwaters Health Network employees, and is intended to provide a general outline only.

For more detailed information, please email the Hudson Headwaters Benefits Team.

Health insurance is available to all full time and part time employees. Hudson Headwaters offers a High Deductible Health Insurance Plan with a $1500 Individual and $3000 Family deductible.  The Network funds 50% of the deductible through an HRA (Health Reimbursement Account). We offer affordable premiums for individuals and families.  Comprehensive vision coverage is included as part of the health plan.

If you participate in the Network’s Health Insurance Plan, health care services for you and covered family members are offered at no cost when provided by Hudson Headwaters Health Network.

A semi-monthly reimbursement is available to full time employees who opt out of our health insurance plan and have other comprehensive group health insurance coverage.

A comprehensive Vision Plan is available to full and part time employees. We offer affordable premiums for individuals and families.

A comprehensive dental plan is available to full and part time employees. We offer affordable premiums for families and individuals.

The FSA plans help employees manage the costs of qualified medical and dependent (child or elder) care expenses with pretax dollars.

Hudson Headwaters provides Term Life Insurance for full and part time employees.

Hudson Headwaters provides Long Term Disability insurance to all full time employees.

Employees may be eligible to enhance their benefits package by purchasing voluntary insurance products at group rates through payroll deduction.  These plans include: Term Life, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, and Long Term Care.

The Paid Time Off (PTO) program provides a specified amount of paid time off for eligible employees to use for scheduled and unscheduled absences.  PTO provides a comprehensive bank of paid hours for vacations, holidays, disabilities and/or illnesses, and appointments for medical or dental treatment.  Accrual rates are determined by employment status, hours worked, and years of service.

Employees are eligible to participate in the Hudson Headwaters Health Network 403(b) Plan. All employees may elect to participate in the Plan beginning with the first administratively feasible payroll period after the start of employment. Employees will be automatically enrolled after 30 days of employment. After 12 months of employment, employees are eligible for an employer match and discretionary contributions. Discretionary contributions into the plan are made annually at the direction of the Board of Directors.
