    Hudson Headwaters Continues Investment in and Commitment to Workforce

    Announces Minimum Wage Increase and Appointment of New Human Resources Executive

    Hudson Headwaters recently announced a significant mid-year minimum wage increase. Any employee making less than $15.00 per hour will be given a raise to $15.00, representing a new Network-wide minimum wage.

    “Our Network of 17 health centers spanning 5,000 square miles of the Adirondack North Country and Glens Falls region, represents an exceptional foundation that we can build upon and offers an opportunity for both clinical and workplace innovation – factors that will keep Hudson Headwaters at the forefront of quality health care. This pay increase not only represents our collective hard work, but also hopefully makes a difference for our employees and their families,” said Dr. Tucker Slingerland, CEO.

    Hudson Headwaters is one of the largest employers in the Adirondack region, with almost 800 staff members.

    New York State is not set to increase the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour until after 2020.

    Susan brings to the organization over two decades of expertise from serving in senior HR leadership roles in health care and insurance companies. She has a wealth of diverse experience in talent management, leadership development, HR information systems, compliance, benefits management, and health insurance, including a license as a NYS Life, Accident and Health Insurance agent.
