Healthy Smiles: Children’s School-Based Dental Program

About

Healthy Smiles, our school-based dental program, provides expanded access to preventive dental services and oral health education to children throughout the North Country. Our dental team travels to area schools with their portable equipment twice each year and performs dental screenings, cleanings, sealant applications and fluoride treatments. The team refers students to local participating dentists for restorative work as needed.

Students in grades Pre-K through 12 with a parent/guardian-signed consent form are welcome to participate in Healthy Smiles. All services are offered to families at no out-of-pocket cost. If your child has dental insurance, we will bill the insurance company for our services, and you will not be responsible for any copays. If your child does not have health insurance, our services are provided at no cost.
