COVID-19 Vaccine: A Message From Our CEO

COVID-19 Vaccines – A message from our CEO, Dr. Tucker Slingerland

Hudson Headwaters is working closely with public health officials and the New York State Department of Health to plan COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Initial supplies will be limited and given to health care workers per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We expect to begin offering COVID-19 vaccines to patients in early 2021.  

Until then, there is no need to contact your provider or health center to schedule an appointment for a vaccine. We will add updates to our COVID-19 webpage at hhhn.org as well as the patient portal, including how and when to get your vaccine. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccine, visit the CDC’s FAQ as well as its page on Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines.

For the time being, we must remain vigilant and focus on prevention. Please continue to wear a mask, socially distance and wash your hands.

Telehealth and in-person appointments are available for all your other primary care needs. Please call your health center or make an appointment online.
