Welcome Women’s Health Specialist, Cassie Leonard, M.D.
Queensbury, N.Y. – June 25, 2018 – Hudson Headwaters Health Network is pleased to announce that women’s health specialist Cassie Leonard, M.D., has joined our North Country Obstetrics and Gynecology group.
Dr. Leonard graduated from Shepherd University in West Virginia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her doctorate of medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Pennsylvania. She has been practicing for seven years at West Virginia University Medicine, providing highly specialized care to women.
Dr. Leonard’s husband is a native of upstate New York and they are excited to be returning to the area with their three children. Dr. Leonard is also looking forward to joining the women’s health team. “It is an exciting time to be coming on board,” said Dr. Leonard. “With the building renovations underway to expand and enhance the women’s health facility, I’m eager to be part of the team effort to improve the care and access to care for patients in our community.”
“We are pleased to have Cassie joining the team,” said Danielle Goertzen, M.D., lead physician for North Country OB/GYN. “We are continuing to grow our practice to increase accessibility, expand services, and improve the patient experience.”
