Hudson Headwaters recently welcomed two new family physicians, brothers who grew up in Queensbury. John Quaresima, MD, MEd cares for patients at West Mountain Health Services (Building 2), and Mark Quaresima, MD, for patients at Moreau Family Health.

“It’s unusual to have two well-qualified physicians join the Network who happen to be brothers,” said John Rugge, MD, CEO of Hudson Headwaters. “The fact that they grew up here certainly played a part in their decision to join our medical staff.”

John Quaresima, MD, worked briefly as a medical assistant at the Health Center on Broad Street years ago. He earned a Master’s degree in education from University of Notre Dame and went on to complete his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and family medicine residency at Dartmouth University’s Family Medicine Program at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire.

To make an appointment with Dr. John Quaresima, call West Mountain Health Services (Bldg 2):  824-8610.

Mark Quaresima, MD earned his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame and graduated from the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He completed his family medicine residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.

The brothers say that the opportunity to come back to the region was compelling, and that Hudson Headwaters is a good fit. Both enjoy the area’s lifestyle and access to natural beauty.

To make an appointment with Dr. Mark Quaresima, call Moreau Family Health:  761-6961.
