Changes are Coming to Medicaid: Here's How to Stay Covered

Changes are coming to Medicaid in 2027. Starting on January 1, a new federal rule called Work Requirements for Medicaid Coverage takes effect. This means that some adults with Medicaid health insurance coverage will need to show that they work, volunteer, go to school or are enrolled in job training in order to apply for or renew their coverage. Hudson Headwaters recommends that you take action to prevent a gap in your coverage.
