Karen Dague, LCSW-R Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Karen is a native of Norwich, NY, a small town in the central part of the state. She was the first in her family to attend and graduate from college, and she went into the field of social work to make a difference in the lives of others, especially those who have been marginalized in our society.

Karen wants her patients and prospective patients to know that her role is not to judge, direct or cure, but to empower individuals to make desired changes to improve their quality of life. She values the importance of dignity for all, the power of choice and self-efficacy and sees the person (not the disability, illness or problem) first.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys DIY projects around the house. When the weather cooperates, she takes walks and runs in the morning. She also enjoys traveling to warm, sunny beaches and the ocean. Her hobby is flipping old dollhouses and donating them to local agencies that work with children and families.
