About Farhan Rana, M.D.

Farhan Rana, M.D., was born in Multan, Pakistan, and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. At the age of 18, he went abroad for his medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain.

Dr. Rana is the oldest of five siblings and the first from both sides of his family to pursue a career in medicine. His interest in family medicine dates far back to his childhood when he was inspired by a physician who took great care of him.

Outside of work, Dr. Rana enjoys sports, such as basketball, soccer and volleyball. He also likes going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, meeting new people and exploring nature.
