About Eugene McTiernan, M.D.
Dr. McTiernan’s early interest in science, especially biology, led him to pursue a career in medicine. After finishing his military service in Texas, Dr. McTiernan knew he wanted to return to the Northeast and was drawn to Hudson Headwaters’ philosophy of providing care equally to the communities in the Adirondacks.
He wants his patients to know that he strives to be empathetic and work as a team with the parents of the children in his care.
Outside of work, Dr. McTiernan enjoys writing, reading, attending live music performances, kayaking, snowshoeing, biking and spending time with family.
