About Alexandra Barbieri, MS, RD, CDN
As a native of the area, Alex grew up exploring the Adirondacks and Lake George. She has always had a passion for educating others on food and wellness, and her goal was to be an educator in her community. She believes nutrition can be fun, and her love of food and dining is why she chose to be a registered dietitian.
Alex understands that everyone has a different story, and she tries to meet her patients where they are. She feels it’s important to establish short- and long-term goals while keeping expectations as simple as possible. Small, consistent changes lead to large results.
When she’s not at work, Alex enjoys being outside with her dog, Willow. She loves hiking, paddling, skiing, climbing, boating on Lake George and running in the Glens Falls area. She also loves eating at any of the restaurants in downtown Glens Falls.
