About Adam Lacayo, M.D.
Dr. Lacayo has helped to provide care for the people of Northern Vermont and New York since 2011. He studied biology at Northern Vermont University, then public health at the University of Vermont Graduate College before entering medical school at the UVM Larner College of Medicine. He completed his three-year family medicine residency at Champlain Family Health. Dr. Lacayo has always been interested exclusively in primary care. Every experience along the road to medical practice has reinforced that interest.
More than anything else in his practice, Dr. Lacayo values the unique relationship that family physicians can have with patients and families across all stages of life. This relationship allows the family physician to manage medical problems, promote wellness and leave a long-lasting positive impact on the lives of so many in our community.
In his free time, Dr. Lacayo enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his wife and two young daughters, including downhill skiing, tennis, sailing, hiking and camping.
