    Getting Screened For Colon Cancer

We’re spreading the word about how important it is to get screened for colorectal cancer.

Once you turn 50, it’s time to get screened. The Center for Disease Control recommends screening for people 50-75. If a close blood relative has had cancer or pre-cancerous polyps removed, you should ask your provider about a possible need for testing before 50.

Hudson Headwaters can help! We can guide you through this process to explain all of your options.

Call your local health center to take the next step in protecting yourself from colorectal cancer.
